Prestige cars the backbone

My Dentist

LATE model prestige cars are the backbone of the new Auto Art Showroom.

The floor is peppered with the major brands, including low kilometre BMWs.

There are four in the showroom at the moment, and sitting alongside is a Porsche and Mercedes Benz.

In the corner is a “fire engine red” Chrysler Cross Fire Sports Coupe.

It was built in Germany, and retrostyled from the original “crossfire” concept car, which was displayed at the Munich International Motor Show.

It shares 40 per cent of its components with Mercedes Benz. It has a 3.2 litre, V6 engine and can go from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in 6.4 seconds.

The two-seater can reach a top speed of 240 kilometres per hour. “It’s a fun car to drive,” Mr Hughes said. “It has power in reserve, great handling, control and braking.”
