Bob Hughes introduced to Australia the first Dodge Viper, Saleen Mustang and ZR1 Corvette.
A former panel-beater, Bob now has thirty years experience in the car-dealership business. He opened his first classic car showroom at Mogo, near Batemans Bay in 1990 and has built up his business and reputation by traveling overseas, mainly to the United States and Japan, to buy and import classic cars.
Bob is an experienced production race car driver and spent ten years on the race circuit competing in Australian Production Car events, including Bathurst endurances and Targa Tasmania. In 2007 he achieved a podium third outright at Bathurst with his Mitsubishi Evolution V111 RS, along with co-driver, Rick Bates. Bob has previously displayed Bathurst homologated specials and has plans to show Australian muscle cars from the 60s and early 70s, with a special interest in muscle cars that have a history of racing at Bathurst.
